matthias s The Butterfly Effect 3 is an abysmal mess of a movie that fails to capture any of the intrigue and excitement of the original film. The plot is riddled with holes that only serve to make the story confusing and frustrating to follow, while the dialogue is so messy and poorly written that it's hard to care about any of the characters.The most glaring issue with this film is the numerous plot holes that are present throughout. Characters are introduced and then quickly forgotten, events happen for seemingly no reason, and the rules of time travel that were established in the first film are completely ignored. It's hard to get invested in a story when it feels like the filmmakers themselves don't know what's going on.But even if the plot had been tighter and more cohesive, the dialogue would still be a major issue. Every line is either cheesy or stilted, making it difficult for the actors to deliver anything resembling a convincing performance. The characters themselves are also poorly written, with no real motivations or personalities beyond the most basic stereotypes.All in all, The Butterfly Effect 3 is a movie that is best avoided. The plot holes and messy dialogue make it a frustrating experience to watch, and the lack of any real depth or nuance makes it hard to care about anything that happens on screen.
